Years ago, I used to send round a “Site of the Week” email (in the days before blogs were invented!). This site would have been a good candidate.
DueDil is reported to have the largest coverage of free UK company data from recognised sources such as Companies House.
Yes, that was “available for free”, for now anyway. Premium features will follow in the future. You will be asked to register with the site, but it’s well worth it if you need this sort of data.
The start-up behind the site, also called DueDil, is quite new but seems to be garnering support in the way of funding rounds and certainly a good reputation.
A nice, neat site, I’ve been finding it a very handy source for some of my more obscure company searches in recent months.
They’d like to be disruptive, and “revolutionise the information available on private businesses”, so it will be interesting to see how their service develops.
